I'm originally from Germany, but my passion for books and reading brought me to the United States. My husband was in the military for 21 years so we moved around a lot but one tour took us back to Bremerhaven, Germany, were two of our three sons were born.
We have now settled in beautiful Colorado where we live with our 3 sons, Gavin, Tristan and Ryan. And our two dogs 13 year old Brittany Spaniel Pyra and 5 year old boxer Tyson.
I am very creative and love art of any kind. I have a degree in Advanced Computer Graphic Design and I enjoy 'doodling' on the computer just as much as with 'ordinary' pencils. I inherited the creative side from my grandfather who was a great artist.
I also am a great fan of Formula 1 and you were sure to find me at the race track in Hockenheim during the Grand Prix of Germany. (It is now held at the Nurburgring.)

As long as I can remember books have been a part of my life. I used to read with a flashlight underneath the covers when I was a child ;o) When I left Germany to move to the US after I got married, I had to leave a lot of my treasured books behind because of weight restrictions. It broke my heart.
So now I am rebuilding my collection as well as adding books about business and self-improvement that help me build a successful home-based business.
One book I recently read is helping to turn our lives around after my husband's business took a nose dive recently and we were heading in the wrong direction financially.

The thought of having to work well into my 70ies or even 80ies to survive just terrifies me. I want to build my own nest egg so I don't have to depend on anyone.
I want my own money
It always bothered me to buy my husband's Christmas, birthday or anniversary gifts with "his" money. I want my own money that I can spend for things like that.
I want to go home
I want to be able to go home to Germany whenever I want to and not when finances dictate.
Why did I pick this particular business to accomplish this? Because I love books madly. I have stacks of them...in two languages ;o)
